Applications are invited for a Senior Clinical Fellow to undertake a position in Ophthalmology (Oculoplastic, Lacrimal and Orbital Surgery) to commence from 1st August 2018 for 12 months

The post holder will receive extensive exposure to Oculoplastic and Adnexal Surgery. There will be opportunity for research and the post holder will be actively encouraged to engage in audit. There is also close liaison with Neurosurgery, Dermatology (including Mohs’ micrographic surgery), Plastics, Maxillofacial Surgery, ENT and Oncology.

This post will also involve a sessional commitment to Hinchingbrooke Hospital.

In order to be considered it is essential that applicants have MRCOphth part 3 or equivalent and appropriate exposure to Oculoplastic/Adnexal Surgery at ST5+ level or equivalent and completion of core training or equivalent in Ophthalmology.

Applicants must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013).
