Applications are invited for a Locum Consultant in Gynaecology in Reproductive Medicine at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to commence as soon as possible for six months in the first instance. The post is part time (4 PA’s).

This post will support the reproductive medicine service more generally but in particular to offer expertise and leadership in early pregnancy problems and to lead on the termination of pregnancy service. Training and expertise in gynaecological ultrasound will be an advantage.

Applicants should be on the GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of CCT at time of interview. Applicants who lack the above qualifications but can demonstrate the necessary training and skills can apply for the post.

The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
