Applications are invited for a Neurotology / Skull Base Fellow at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. This post is available from 03 October 2018 for 1 year.

The Fellowship is designed for trainees who want to pursue a career in Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery.  Candidates should have at least four years experience as a Specialist Registrar in a Type 1 post and hold the FRCS/MRCS and the exit examination.  This post is also available to candidates who hold a CCT.

This Fellowship offers exposure to all types of anterior, central and lateral skull base pathology under the guidance of 4 Skull Base Surgeons.  It is expected that the successful applicant will have good core otological and endoscopic skills and a desire to be involved in Departmental research opportunities.

This post does not carry a Training Number and candidates in Type 1 placements should therefore make arrangements to bring their Training Number with them.  This post is also open to candidates who have obtained their CCT.  Candidates applying from overseas should have equivalent experience in ENT and hold an exit ENT qualification.

Applications from job seekers who require sponsorship to work in the UK are welcome and will be considered alongside all other applications. However, non-EEA candidates may not be appointed to a post if a suitably qualified, experienced and skilled EU/EEA candidate is available to take up the post as the employing body is unlikely, in these circumstances, to satisfy the Resident Labour Market Test.
