Are you an experienced paediatric nurse looking to take on a new challenge?

Children’s services at CUH are looking to recruit a Senior Sister / Charge Nurse for their paediatric outpatients service. This is an exciting new role within paediatrics and will offer opportunities to develop the current service offered. The three paediatric outpatient clinic areas see a wide range of children booked for appointments in medical, surgical and speciality clinics for investigation, treatment and follow up.

You will work closely with our established clinic staff, nurse specialists and medical teams across children’s services and be an integral part of the senior nursing team.

You will be responsible for the day to day running of the clinic areas and line management of the staff as well as working closely with the Matron on oversight of children seen in non-paediatric outpatient areas.  You will lead implementation of the departmental strategy and have an important voice in helping to develop a vision for future improvements to ensure that the services offered can continue to provide the highest level of care to the patients and families seen at CUH.

This post is subject to a satisfactory DBS clearance and as a result, you will be required to pay the associated fee of £47.50. This fee will be deducted from your second month’s salary.
