An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Leader Scrub in Main Theatres unit 3. You will be responsible for assisting in the efficient management of an expanding theatre service, be a clinical expert in more than one specialty and to be a role model to the junior staff. Knowledge of Plastics & Maxillo facial would be especially desirable. An ability to demonstrate professionalism at all times, maintain a safe environment for patients and staff and provide innovation in your practice.

We are looking for a dynamic individual who will seize this challenge and develop the staff and the service to reflect the changing nature of surgery. This is an opportunity to showcase your knowledge, teamwork and leadership skills required for this inspiring role.

Essential qualifications and/or experience: RN (A)/RODP at band 5 or equivalent, mentorship course or equivalent; anaesthetic course desirable.

Demonstrate sound knowledge and clinical expertise in relevant field of specialist surgery.

Evidence of recent professional development, ability to lead, motivate and develop a theatre team.   

This post is subject to a satisfactory DBS clearance and as a result, you will be required to pay the associated fee of £47.50.This fee will be deducted from your second month’s salary.
