We are looking for a confident and dynamic individual to assist with the clinic management needed run a dermatology service. This is an opportunity for someone who has dermatology skills looking to progress within leadership/management or someone with existing team management skills looking to specialise in dermatology.

Good IT skills are required as we use a variety of different software platforms. You will manage a team and be required to provide cross-cover other team management in collaboration with the theatre and phototherapy sisters.

Existing dermatology skills is desirable, however, full training can be provided to work within our autonomous nurse led areas clinics, phototherapy and theatres.

These areas will require an individual to become confident at skin assessment and implementing a care plan. There will be the occasional lone and off-site working. Excellent communication skills are required to provide patient education to people with acute and chronic skin disease. A keen eye for detail and the ability to cope well under time pressure is required for our photodynamic therapy, patch test, day treatment and UVA/PUVA phototherapy services.

This post is subject to a satisfactory DBS clearance and as a result, you will be required to pay the associated fee of £47.50. This fee will be deducted from your second month’s salary.
