Our Trust

Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH) NHS Foundation Trust comprises Addenbrooke’s Hospital and the Rosie Hospital in Cambridge. With over 9000 staff and over 1100 beds the priorities of the Trust focus on a quality service which is all about people – patients, staff and partners. Recognised as providing ‘outstanding’ care to our patients and rated ‘Good’ overall by the Care Quality Commissioner, is testament to the skill and dedication of the people who work here. CUH’s values – Together- safe, kind, excellent – are at the heart of patient care, defining the way all staff work and behave. The Trust provides accessible high-quality healthcare for the local people of Cambridge, together with specialist services, dealing with rare or complex conditions for a regional, national and international population.

Transforming care through eHospital – be part of the team

Do you have excellent problem solving skills? Do you have a good understanding of clinical and operational processes within the NHS or other organisation? Are you a great communicator? Do you want to work as part of a dynamic and forwarding-thinking team? Do you want to make a difference and support CUH Staff?

Cambridge University Hospitals is the first UK hospital to implement the Epic electronic patient record system which went live in October 2014.

The Epic system has been customised by CUH to reflect clinical workflows and as part of the eHospital training team, your role will include delivering new starter and refresher training as required in order to support Trust staff.

Working closely with the Principal Trainers as they update and customise the training for CUH, you will be responsible for training specific areas within the system. These are exciting and challenging roles, at the heart of the transformation of clinical services to provide high-quality care supported by a world class electronic patient record system.
