Our Trust

Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH) NHS Foundation Trust comprises Addenbrooke’s Hospital and the Rosie Hospital in Cambridge. With over 9000 staff and over 1100 beds the priorities of the Trust focus on a quality service which is all about people – patients, staff and partners. Recognised as providing ‘outstanding’ care to our patients and rated ‘Good’ overall by the Care Quality Commissioner, is testament to the skill and dedication of the people who work here. CUH’s values – Together- safe, kind, excellent – are at the heart of patient care, defining the way all staff work and behave. The Trust provides accessible high-quality healthcare for the local people of Cambridge, together with specialist services, dealing with rare or complex conditions for a regional, national and international population.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join our dedicated and friendly Employee Relations (ER) team.  Working in a busy and challenging environment, you will provide expert HR advice and work closely with managers and senior stakeholders on a wide range of employee relations issues.  Supported by an ER Advisor, you will ensure all casework is managed robustly, consistently, proactively and in a timely manner.

You will ideally be CIPD qualified, have significant experience of managing complex and sensitive employee relations cases, have a sound knowledge of employment law and demonstrate the ability to work with trade unions in a partnership role.

With strong people management skills, you will be driven by high standards, be confident, approachable, assertive and professional.   Experience of working within a unionised environment will be an advantage.

Please note that interviews are scheduled to take place on Tuesday 3rd July 2018.

Pay award pending from 1st April 2018.
