Reporting to the Head of Capital Planning and Development we currently have a new opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic an well-motivated individual to contribute to the work of the Capital Planning and Development Department.

The post provides a great opportunity to lead on the delivery of strategic infrastructure projects which supports our ambitious Estates Strategy. You will take a leading role in managing capital engineering infrastructure schemes whilst ensuring that good relationships with colleagues and clients are maintained.

The Engineering Development Manager will be accountable for the projects under their care and will supervise in-house resources, external Consultants and Contractors in the successful delivery of these projects providing advice on all aspects of engineering design, cost, programme, procurement, delivery and stakeholder engagement and be the lead on managing infrastructure project expenditure, management reports and project registers.

You should be qualified to degree level in an engineering disciple with professional membership and have minimum 5 years’ experience of working and a proven track record of delivery large scale healthcare infrastructure projects.

Interviews are due to be held in the week commencing 16th July 2018.

Pay award pending from 1st April 2018.
