Our Trust
Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH) NHS Foundation Trust comprises Addenbrooke’s Hospital and the Rosie Hospital in Cambridge. With over 9000 staff and over 1100 beds the priorities of the Trust focus on a quality service which is all about people – patients, staff and partners. Recognised as providing ‘outstanding’ care to our patients and rated ‘Good’ overall by the Care Quality Commissioner, is testament to the skill and dedication of the people who work here. CUH’s values – Together- safe, kind, excellent – are at the heart of patient care, defining the way all staff work and behave. The Trust provides accessible high-quality healthcare for the local people of Cambridge, together with specialist services, dealing with rare or complex conditions for a regional, national and international population.

We are looking for an enthusiastic professional to join our busy Cardiac Physiology Department. The post holder will be involved in all aspects of the non-invasive Cardiology Department and must have the ability to be part of a team. The post holder should possess the skills to independently perform and report standard transthoracic echocardiograms to BSE standard, assist with TOE procedures and CRT baseline/optimisation, physiologist-led exercise treadmill tests, 24 hour holter monitors, 7 day cardiac monitors, and 12 lead ECGs. Stress echo experience is desirable but not essential. With the move of Papworth Hospital onto the CUH site in 2018, there will be exciting opportunities for cross site working and further expansion of services.

Workshops and training sessions will be available for the successful candidate to maintain BSE accreditation.

Interviews are due to be held on 13 March 2018.

The closing date is 4 March 2018.

This post is subject to a satisfactory DBS clearance and as a result, you will be required to pay the associated fee of £47.50. This fee will be deducted from your second month’s salary.
