Our Trust
Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH) NHS Foundation Trust comprises Addenbrooke’s Hospital and the Rosie Hospital in Cambridge. With over 9000 staff and over 1100 beds the priorities of the Trust focus on a quality service which is all about people – patients, staff and partners. Recognised as providing ‘outstanding’ care to our patients and rated ‘Good’ overall by the Care Quality Commissioner, is testament to the skill and dedication of the people who work here. CUH’s values – Together- safe, kind, excellent – are at the heart of patient care, defining the way all staff work and behave. The Trust provides accessible high-quality healthcare for the local people of Cambridge, together with specialist services, dealing with rare or complex conditions for a regional, national and international population.

How would you like to work in a busy Finance office supporting Division D within the Trust?

Reporting to the Divisional Finance Analyst you will be providing financial reporting and transactional support to him/her as well as looking after your own range of cost centres.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include monitoring the financial performance of a range of cost Centres , liaising with budget holders , and managing relationships with a number of stakeholders within the Trust.

This post is a challenging and creative role where the ability to communicate well with colleagues across the Trust is important. A flexible approach and a can-do attitude are crucial. The successful candidate will be self motivated, able to prioritise their own work and to work to deadlines with little supervision.

It is essential that you are at least a partly qualified CCAB accountant. If not already fully qualified, you will be actively studying towards your CCAB qualification. You will have excellent IT skills (especially Microsoft Excel) with proven ability to analyse complex data and transform it into meaningful reports. Although previous experience of working in a large organisation is desirable it is more important that applicants can demonstrate confidence, analytical ability, and a flexible approach to the demands of the job.

This post is due to close on 25th February 2018.

Interviews are due to take place on the week commencing 5th March 2018.
