Interested in an Apprenticeship at Cambridge University Hospitals?  Why not apply for this role NOW?

The Trust is PROUD of its Apprenticeship Scheme with a success rate of over 80% of Apprentices obtaining substantive contracts by the time they complete their apprenticeships.

We have vacancies for the following roles across various areas of the Trust:

  • Business Administration
  • Finance
  • Carpentry

These apprenticeships range between intermediate and advanced (Level 2 and 3) and can include public or patient facing roles and/or back office, behind the scenes work. No previous hospital or related work experience is necessarily required.

You will work alongside other administrators, clinical and support staff who will support, train and mentor you as well as receiving day release regularly to study towards your apprenticeship and gain additional knowledge relevant to the workplace.

These apprenticeships offer a full time fixed term contract ranging between 13 and 18 months. You will work in a fixed area whilst learning the role and completing the Apprenticeship. You will receive a salary of £10,500 for the first 12 months (increasing from month 13 depending on your age).

Towards the end of the apprenticeship you will be supported to apply for permanent vacancies within the hospital and if successful, the opportunity to progress onto further qualifications.

A good level of English and Maths or equivalent is desirable.  However, training will be provided.

If your application is successful you will be invited to an Apprentice Information and Assessment Day on 29th August 2018.
