We have fantastic opportunities for Healthcare Support Workers (HCSW), Theatre Support Workers (TSW) and Maternity Care Assistants (MCA) to join our teams across the Trust on a permanent contract or flexible registration via our Staff Bank. You will work alongside friendly and experienced staff committed to delivering a high standard of care to patients and their families in a hospital that is recognised as providing 'outstanding' care to our patients by the Care Quality Commissioner.

Division A - Comprises of musculoskeletal diseases, digestive diseases, and perioperative care (adult critical care, theatres and anaesthesia). The areas that have vacancies are listed below:

Division C - Comprises of acute medicine, inflammation/infection, transplant, the emergency department (ED), acute medicine and medicine for the elderly. The areas that have vacancies are listed below:

  • Ward D7 - General/Renal Medicine
  • Ward C5 - Renal
  • Ward D10 - Infectious Diseases
  • Ward N3 - Respiratory
  • Ward N2 - Isolation Unit
  • Ward D5 - Hepatology
  • Cambridge Dialysis Centre
  • West Suffolk Dialysis unit
  • Ward G5 - Transplant Unit
  • Ward C7 - Hepatobiliary Surgery
  • Ward EAU4 & Ward EAU5 - Acute Medicine
  • Ward C4 - Frailty and Acute Medicine for the Elderly
  • Department of medicine for the Elderly
  • Clinical Decisions Unit
  • Emergency Department

Division D - Comprises of neuroscience, ENT (ear nose and throat), H&N (head and neck)/plastic surgery and cardiovascular-metabolic medicine. The areas that have vacancies are listed below:

  • Ward K3 - Cardiology and coronary care unit
  • Ward A4 - Neurology and Neurosurgery
  • Ward A5 - Neuro-oncology and Neurosurgery
  • Ward J2 - Major trauma unit
  • Ward R2 - Lewin stroke and rehabilitation unit
  • Ward F6 - Diabetes and Endocrinology 
  • Ward K2 - Cardiology / Heart failure
  • Clinic 3 / 14  - Ophthalmology (Eye clinics)
  • Ward L5 - Plastic and vascular surgery
  • Ward M5 - Oral and maxillofacial surgery, ENT, ophthalmology and plastics 

Division E – Comprises of four directorates that includes medical specialties, surgical specialties, paediatrics including paediatric critical care, obstetrics and gynaecology. The areas that have vacancies are listed below:

  • Clinic 6 - Paediatrics Outpatients
  • PICU - Paediatric Intensive Care Unit
  • Daphne ward - Inpatient and Outpatient (Gynaecology)
  • Sara ward - Antenatal
  • Clinic 21 - Rosie Outpatients Department
