Do you good organisational communication skills and could you lead a small team? The Sterile Services Department needs an appropriately skilled person to lead a team as part of the evening shift (14:00 to 22:00).

You will lead a team of up to fifteen people undertaking the cleaning, disinfection, inspection, sterilisation and distribution of an extensive range of reusable medical devices. You should understand and be able to demonstrate:

• Good practice in the decontamination of reusable medical devices

• Effective communication both face to face and via telephone

• How to prioritise work activity for both yourself and others
and have experience of:

1. Operating washer disinfectors and steam sterilisers
2. Working within the framework of a quality system
3. Stock control

Good literacy and numeracy skills and basic knowledge of IT are required, a familiarity with the use of electronic tracking & traceability systems would be an advantage. This is a full-time post.
